Advancement Uniform Checklist

As your Scout advances through the Cub Scout ranks. There will be changes in the uniform they wear. The following outlines the changes at each rank advancment.

Lion --> Tiger

• New Tiger Hat

• New Tiger Neckerchief slide

• New Tiger Neckerchief (provided at graduation)

• Will now wear the full Blue Cub Scout Uniform.

Tiger --> Wolf

• New Wolf Hat

• New Wolf Neckerchief slide

• New Wolf Neckerchief (provided at graduation)

• Continue to wear blue uniform. Just add your new Tiger Rank Patch!
  

Wolf --> Bear

• New Bear Hat

• New Bear Neckerchief slide

• New Bear Neckerchief (provided at graduation)

• Continue to wear blue uniform. Just add your new Wolf Rank Patch!
  

Bear --> Webelos

• New Webelos Hat

• New Webelos Neckerchief slide

• New Webelos Neckerchief (provided at graduation)

• Add Webelos “Rank Color”. Webelos receive pins (instead of belt loops) for Adventures completed. Those pins are placed on the “Rank Color which is pinned to the right shoulder. https://www.scoutshop.org/cub-scout-webelos-rank-colors-452.html

• Webelos Scouts can continue to wear their blue uniform…just add your new Bear rank patch.

• When Webelos outgrow their blue shirt, purchase a Khaki shirt. Webelos can wear the khaki shirt throughout the remainder of their Cub Scout years into Scouts BSA.

Webelos --> AOL

• AOL Scouts may start wearing the Khaki uniform shirt. The Webelos patch received can only be worn on the khaki shirt and has no position on the blue shirt. The khaki shirt is the same shirt worn in Scouts BSA.

• AOL scouts wear the same neckerchief (plaid), slide and hat as previous year.
